getting started
1. Set up your profile
Log in, open your Profile page, and choose a username. This gives your sets and performance links a clean identity when you share them.
2. Build a set in Studio
Go to Studio, create or open a set, then add shaders. You can reorder items to define your live sequence and keep related looks grouped together.
3. Add controls for live tweaking
Attach a controls file to expose uniforms as sliders/toggles. This is the fastest way to shape mood, speed, color, and intensity while performing.
4. Connect MIDI and/or audio
In performance mode, map MIDI knobs/faders to control values for tactile control. If you use Pure Data audio routing, you can drive visuals reactively from sound.
5. Run performance mode
Open the performance view fullscreen before your set. Switch shaders with keyboard, scroll, or MIDI, and keep your next cues ready in your set order.
6. Optional: multi-screen output
Use the display node flow if you want to split visuals across screens/projectors for installations or stage setups.
